Rich Nelson has worked successfully for more than 35 years with education, church, health care and non-profit organizations in all parts of the United States – from groups with fewer than ten members to multi-thousand member organizations. He has a broad range of experience in negotiations, organizational development, communications, strategic planning and problem solving. He has developed training, facilitated negotiations and problem solving, and guided organizations in strategic planning and leadership development throughout the country. He was a primary developer/trainer of the Interest-based Facilitator Training Program, a joint project of the National Education Association and the North American Association of Educational Negotiators. Rich is also a consultant with the Joy Leadership Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Rich graduated from the University of Minnesota and began his career as a classroom teacher in Minnesota. He served on the professional staff of education associations in Minnesota, South Dakota and Arizona. After retiring in 1998, he now works fulltime helping individuals and organizations achieve excellence.

Stan Damas is a skilled negotiator, mediator, trainer, and consultant with more than 30 years of experience in various strategies for problem solving, negotiations and decision-making. Stan has represented many school districts and public organizations in negotiations since 1976, and has also served as a neutral in negotiations and dispute resolution processes. He has facilitated organizational meetings and retreats, analyzed and designed compensation structures and helped draft and implement policies and procedures, as well as conducting assessments, consultations and trainings for public and private business across the United States. He is a past president of the North American Association of Educational Negotiators and was a primary developer/ trainer of The Interest-Based Facilitator Training Program, a project co-developed and sponsored by NAEN and the National Education Association. Stan was born in Germany and raised in Michigan. He earned a B.S. Degree in Urban Studies from the University of Detroit and a law degree from Wayne State University. After many trips to Colorado to ski, Stan made Denver his home in 1975.
