STRATIX recognizes that each organization and its employees/ members/stakeholders is unique — we begin by working to identify and understand the specific needs and expectations of the client.
We consult with representatives of the organization and the groups involved in the conflict to develop the process and guidelines for convening an interest-based strategy to manage the conflict, improve communications and enhance positive relationships. Elements include:
What parties will be involved and who will represent them?
What specific aspects of the conflict will the parties deal with in the interest-based strategy?
How will the costs of training and facilitation be handled?
Who will provide logistical and administrative support for the process?
What will be the schedule for initiating and concluding the interest-based process?
If necessary and appropriate, we design and provide training to meet the specific needs of the parties and to prepare the representatives to use the interest-based strategy.
We facilitate the implementation of the interest-based strategy to manage the conflict, improve communications and enhance positive relationships:
Initial facilitation helps the parties identify the problem, key interests and critical information needs for each issue — the basis for a work plan and initial schedule involving all issues involved in the conflict.
Work sessions are scheduled to make the most effective use of organizational resources — generally two or three consecutive days (or a series of sessions).
